FAQ
-
Are children paid for participating?
No nachpikin is an educational and community experience. Children learn gardening, harvesting, and simple crafting skills. They gain recognition and experience, not wages.
-
What plants are you looking for?
We accept a variety of herbs and flowers such as lavender, mint, rosemary, chamomile, calendula, sage, lemon balm, and more. These are used to make natural products safely and responsibly. Check out our plant page for the extensive list.
-
How do I register my garden?
You can sign up using the Offer Your Garden form. Just share your contact details, your garden’s location, and what plants you grow. We will contact you before any visit or harvest.
-
Do I need a big garden to participate?
No. Any size garden is welcome. Even a small patch with a few herbs or flowers can contribute to nachpikin’s products and learning experiences.
-
How often do you collect plants from gardens?
We only collect plants when needed and always contact the garden owner first. Nothing is taken without permission, and we make sure the garden stays healthy.
-
Can I volunteer even if I don’t have a garden?
